Long run planned for Saturday (2008-12-13) from the truck road at the end of the Emirates highway to the Al Madam roundabout. If all goes according to plan it should work out to be around 179 kilometers in total. Once we get past Al Ain road we are in the same piece of desert as the Al Maha resort which is fenced off for kilometers on end. There should however be an open route along the Al Ain side of the fence, if not we are in for a bit of impromptu navigation.
If you want to join give me a call, as it will be a reasonably hard ride only known riders welcome.
