It was a cold and long 3 hour race at the 2009 Enduropale (Le Touquet Beach Race) in France. Starting in the last row, in 480th place, Sebastian Husseini rode his KTM 525 XC ATV all the way to 38th place overall and finished 15th overall in the Solo Class. This was his first overseas international race event and with the support of KTM-France, Sebastian managed an extraordinary result. This was an incredible achievement for the KTM-UAE rider in his first try at the Le Touquet Beach Race, deemed to be the toughest Beach Race in the world for both the rider and equipment. And to illustrate this, Cyril Despres, KTM-France team rider and 2-time Paris-Dakar winner managed 24 th overall in the motorcycle class. “The speed and power of the KTM 525 XC that I rode was amazing! The race was long and tough and the cold weather made it even more difficult,” Sebastian said. Tim Trenker, KTM-UAE Racing Team Manager – “It was a fine day for the UAE and KTM.
