KTM wins Overall ATV Category in UAE Desert Challenge

Lionel Laine rode a fantastic race aboard the KTM 525 XC ATV to top the quad class in the UAE Desert Challenge with a 12m23sec advantage over his closest rival. From October 27th till the 31st, the KTM 525 XC rode through the toughest desert terrain that the UAE could offer and completed the ultimate test a machine could be exposed to. The FIM World Championship Event demanded crucial elements such as handling, speed and reliability, all of which the KTM 525XC ATV possessed.
A test of attrition, this event pits nature against man and machine. And the KTM 525 XC ATV ran through 5 grueling days of the UAE Desert Challenge and proved that KTM, even on 4 wheels, has what it takes to win. Running against a sea of multi-brands, the KTM-UAE rally prepared KTM 525 XC ATV came out of ahead of the rest. An exhausted Lionel could not hide his joy, “I am delighted that all the hard work preparing the KTM ATV paid off, and winning the category is the icing on the cake.”
